SCHOOL SONG
Our school song was written in collaboration with students and staff of St Joseph’s Primary School, East Maitland on February 12, 2002.
Fr Kevin Bates SM worked with the staff and students to produce a new school song reflecting the joining of the three East Maitland Catholic schools. Today the song represents the many families, staff and community members who have become an integral part of the weaving of our story.
OUR SCHOOL FLAG
During 2004 the student council ran a “Design a School Flag” competition. The winning flag has elements of our motto ‘Together with Christ’, children in the formation of the Southern Cross to recognise that we live in Australia, the Mercy Cross, the hammer and rule of St Joseph the Worker and the white lily, which is a symbol of peace and carried by St Joseph.
